Meet the Doctor

Elizabeth Mattsson, DDS

Dr. Elizabeth Mattsson was born and raised in San Antonio. She graduated from James Madison High School and went on to finish her undergraduate degree at St. Mary's University with a B.S. in Biology, minor in Chemistry. Dr. Mattsson pursued her dental studies and earned her D.D.S. at Baylor College of Dentistry. While at Baylor College of Dentistry she served as the class representative for the American Dental Education Association for all 4 years. She was accepted to serve on a Navajo Reservation in Crown Point, NM for a summer externship. She also did a mission trip to Mexico where she provided dental services at an orphanage.

Dr. Mattsson is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the San Antonio District Dental Society. She is also certified in nitrous oxide administration and oral conscious sedation to create a more relaxing dental experience.

Dr. Mattsson is married to Bryan, whom she went to high school with at James Madison. They have 2 children Annika and Gunnar and their dog Gaston. In her free time Dr. Mattsson enjoys outdoor activities, walking and running with her dog every day, traveling, and spending time with her family.
